We went to the Marina to fly kites, but there wasn't any wind. We watched some LARPers and walked around in the mist until it started to rain.

Goodbye, John/ Best Undergrad Ever
Today is John's last day in lab before moving to Washington. The Chem room won't be the same without him. Guo-liang made him a model of circularized GFP out of bike chains- amazing.

Waiting for Sinterklaas
My lab left our shoes outside our boss's office for Sinterklaas to leave us present over night. We also left presents for his horse: carrots and sugar cubes. I thought he might like peanut butter.
