"Snow"

When I first moved to Boston, I imagined winters with lots of pure white snow piling up. Instead it was just very cold. And what little snow we get turns into this brown ice that stays around for weeks. Oh, Boston---what could have been!

Frozen Charles

The Charles River has been frozen for a while now. Apparently a boat went through the river and broke up the ice in its path. I've never seen that before.

Luckiest Nose on Campus

I assume the reason that the nose is shiny is because people rub it for luck. But you never know what these MIT students are up to...

Christmas Tree Lane

This street in Palo Alto has been decorating their houses for over fifty years. When new people buy a house on this street, they have to agree to decorate their house. My mom sold a house here to a Jewish family and they put Santa on their roof every year.
