Equinox Eggs
Cooked in onion peels rendering them a deep red/brown. We jumped over a candle and planted our hopes in the earth.

Goodbye, Menno
Enjoy your parting gift! We've started giving away a part of the creepy scarecrow doll to everyone who passes through our bay. Menno chose a leg.

Signs of Spring
Daffodils inside, leafless trees outside. And I noticed my tulips are coming up in my windowsill planter box.

Yes, those are people dressed up as a potato pancake and a cookie and the MIT mascot wearing a yarmulke.

Kung Hei Fat Choy
Chinese New Year in Boston's Chinatown. There were lots of firecrackers. I'm glad I brought earplugs!

Alternative Aerialists
Eva and I checked out the other side of silks. The crowd was different from Jordan's, that's for sure. I found out where the mohawked people hang out.

Ice Cream and Jelly Beans
This is what I look at while doing trapeze. The ice cream booth has a banana split made out of Jelly Bellies with a crane putting the cherry on top. We always get the kiddie scoop because it's huge.

Math Panda
I went to the MIT Integration Bee. People were nerdy. The contestants couldn't solve a lot of the problems. I realized I don't remember anything about calculus.

"Snow"
When I first moved to Boston, I imagined winters with lots of pure white snow piling up. Instead it was just very cold. And what little snow we get turns into this brown ice that stays around for weeks. Oh, Boston---what could have been!

Frozen Charles
The Charles River has been frozen for a while now. Apparently a boat went through the river and broke up the ice in its path. I've never seen that before.

Luckiest Nose on Campus
I assume the reason that the nose is shiny is because people rub it for luck. But you never know what these MIT students are up to...
