This is the flat I share with two roommates. It's right next to a church whose bells ring every fifteen minutes and for a whole hour on Fridays.

This is at my new workplace. They converted an old country estate to the biomedical research institute. I pass sheep on the shuttle that takes me to work. They did archealogical digs as they were building and found remains from Roman times and the Middle Ages.

Ramble to Grantchester with cows

My roommates and I walked along the Cam river to a nearby village. We encountered many cows along the way. It was quite warm and we ate scones with jam and clotted cream.

Off the hook

I went to Off the Grid in SF and had some pork buns from Chairman Bao. Totally lived up to the hype.

Spa time at Solage in Calistoga. Mud baths and massages followed by sauna, hot tub, bocce and a walk through the vineyard. Life is good.

I got together with Leslie, my friend from college. We had a great time catching up and her son kept us entertained by walking like a penguin and pointing out his 'buddies' in the fish tanks. He's a cutie.

Haupia Pie

We had this pie in Hawaii and liked it so much that we had to re-create it when we got home. Chocolate cookie crust, coconut gelatin, chocolate pudding and whipped cream. Like a dream.
