Jade Burial Suit
I went to the an exhibition of the burial treasures of Han China. They used to make suits out of jade since they believed jade had protective properties. The also put jade plugs in all of the orifices. Who knew? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jade_burial_suit

Dancing for Navratri
This was a festival for the Hindu Mother Goddess. The woman next to me explained that we were dancing in a circle around the shrine as a form of prayer to Durga. This festival celebrates the beginning of winter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navratri

I still felt unsure until I was walking along and saw this cute little church and thought to myself, "What a cute little church. I get to live in such a cute little town full of cute little churches." And I felt very lucky and reassured.

Cream Tea in The Orchard
A ramble to Grantchester rewarded with a scone and clotted cream and jam. The Orchard played host to many a poet back in the day.
